Editorial Guidelines
Last updated: September 22, 2026
Every article distributed through iGaming Wire passes editorial review before publication. These guidelines describe what we publish, what we don't, and the standards every submission is held to.
Our Editorial Review Process
Submitted content is reviewed for factual clarity, formatting, and compliance with these guidelines before it's adapted into unique articles for distribution. Reviews typically complete within 24 hours for Silver packages, extending to 72 hours or more for Gold and Platinum packages given the additional specialist outlets involved.
What We Publish
- Company and product announcements, including iGaming, casino, sports betting, and esports content
- Licensing, regulatory, and market-launch news
- Executive appointments, partnerships, and funding announcements
- Crypto and blockchain-gaming announcements
- Bylined analysis and thought-leadership articles
Content Standards
- Claims of fact must be accurate and, where possible, attributed
- Executive quotes should be specific and verifiable, not generic filler
- Company, product, and executive names must be used consistently throughout a submission
- Content must be original — we do not publish plagiarized or previously published copy
Prohibited Content
- Promotion of unlicensed gambling operations in the jurisdictions targeted
- Misleading claims about odds, returns, or guaranteed winnings
- Defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful material
- Undisclosed paid endorsements presented as independent reporting
Regulatory and Licensing Requirements
For igaming and betting content specifically, we require the operator's licensing jurisdiction to be identified. Content that misrepresents licensing status, or that targets a jurisdiction where the underlying product is not licensed to operate, will not be published.
Sponsored Content Disclosure
All distributed content is clearly identified as client-submitted press material in line with each outlet's own disclosure standards and FTC-style advertising guidelines. This protects both the publisher and the reader from confusion between editorial and promotional content.
Corrections and Retractions
If a factual error is identified after publication, contact us as soon as possible. We will work with the relevant outlet to correct or, where appropriate, retract the affected article.
Standards for Network Publishers
Outlets in our network agree to publish reviewed content without material alteration to its substance, to clearly label sponsored placements per local requirements, and to maintain the structured-data and formatting standards described in our Publishers program.
